We had a really really nice time. We truly enjoyed to spend 1 day in guest room. Location: the hotel was just off Bitche and Strasbourg, the restaurant, and the monastery. Also, main attraction such as Col de l'ungerthal was 1 mile from this property.

I recently stayed at the Hotellerie Du Couvent and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and made my stay feel special. The hotel itself is unique, as it used to be a monastery, and the beauty of the yard and buildings really stood out. I was pleasantly surprised to find an elevator in the building, and my room was well-equipped with a comfortable bed, cloth cupboard, table, chair, and shower+toilet. The central heating kept me cozy throughout my stay. Though there was no TV, I didn't mind as it allowed me to fully immerse myself in the peaceful atmosphere. The dinner and breakfast options were simple, yet delicious. If you prefer dining outside of the hotel, the "Bellevue" restaurant is only a short walk away. Free parking was also available. Despite limited English spoken, the staff made every effort to communicate in French and German. I highly recommend trying this unique hotel for at least one night. You won't regret it!
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I absolutely adored the charming decoration of the hotel. The vintage furniture and beautiful artwork throughout the general areas gave it a cozy and elegant feel. As a senior woman, I found it very accessible with wide hallways and ramps for easy navigation, which was a huge relief for me.
I would have loved if there were more activities specifically tailored for senior guests. It would have been nice to have organized outings or events, as well as staff who could provide assistance or recommendations catered to our needs.

The location of the hotel is perfect for nature lovers, with beautiful forests and natural trails to explore. The markers on the trails were helpful and made it easy to find our way around. The breakfast buffet was great with a good variety of basic food to choose from.
The beds were a bit small and cramped, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. , the restaurants in the nearby villages were closed during our stay, which left us with limited options for dinner.
